It’s TRUFFLE  SEASON  here in Uzes and Le Pistou is celebrating with a few courses to unveil and unravel the truffle’s delicious mysteries!

Our Petits Plats de Truffes courses are given on demand during the months of January and February, so contact us with your dates. Each course will teach you between 6 and 8 wonderful and versatile recipes that can easily be reproduced at home.

As usual with all our courses, we shall sit down afterwards and taste all the dishes we have made – naturally accompanied with some carefully chosen wines.  These are some of the dishes you may expect:

TRUFFLE BUTTER – how to make this very useful standby

MINI TRUFFLE CROQUES MONSIEUR with paper-thin slices of radishes

CAULIFLOWER CAPPUCCINO with HAZELNUTS and SHAVED TRUFFLES, and lacey croutons

Warm LANGOUSTINES with ESPUMA of Truffles (or Truffle Foam)

TAGLIATELLES with cream of CEP and TRUFFLE served with a cloud of frizzled leeks
or RISOTTO with TRUFFLES and GORGONZOLA

SCALLOPS with FONDUE of LEEKS with shaved TRUFFLES

TARTARE of BEEF with TRUFFLES

MONT D’OR cheese  with TRUFFLES

CREME BRULÉE with TRUFFLES and PARMESAN

 

Naturally we shall give you plenty of ideas on how to beautifully serve these dishes..

This course costs 150€ per person – including lunch with specially chosen wine.
We need a minimum of 6 people to run this course – maximum 8 participants.
