It’s TRUFFLE SEASON here in Uzes and Le Pistou is celebrating with a few courses to unveil and unravel the truffle’s delicious mysteries!
Our Petits Plats de Truffes courses are given on demand during the months of January and February, so contact us with your dates. Each course will teach you between 6 and 8 wonderful and versatile recipes that can easily be reproduced at home.
As with all our courses, we’ll taste all the dishes we have made – naturally accompanied with some carefully chosen wines. These are some of the dishes you may expect:
Miniature Croques Monsieur of Truffled Brandade
Eggs poached in Truffled Cream
Salad of Mâche, Artichokes, Truffles, Parmesan and Grilled Hazelnuts
Velouté of Truffled Celariac with Tarragon and Hand-cured Pancetta
Langoustines with Truffle Foam
Truffled Chicken with Ceps, Chestnuts and Thyme, finished with a dazzling cloud of Frizzled Leeks
Brie filled with Truffled Mascarpone
Truffled Creme Brulée
Naturally we shall give you plenty of ideas on how to beautifully serve these dishes..
This course costs 150€ per person – including lunch with specially chosen wine.
We need a minimum of 6 people to run this course – maximum 8 participants.
