WHAT THE WEEKEND IS ABOUT...

The best meals are SPONTANEOUS and UNPLANNED. A perfect cheese, great bread, a good bottle of wine and scintillating conversation, shared around a kitchen table, is hard to beat. But wouldn't it be great if you could casually put something SPECTACULARLY DELICIOUS together from whatever you have in your cupboard - anytime your friends call in unexpectedly?

With a few STRATEGIC INGREDIENTS (dry, tinned or frozen) you will always be prepared for full-proof, quick and easy dishes that can be varied and adapted according to your every mood... And this course offers great standby dishes that can be russled up in minutes.

Also included in the weekend are meals in restaurants, olive- and olive oil tastings at a working olive press as well as a visit to an organic bee-keeper. Not forgetting the shopaholics and culture vultures, there will be a trip to the Medieval walled Citadel of Carcassonne as well as the old Roman capital of Narbonne...

The course is limited to 7-8 people. It is informal and fun (and hands-on for those who want it). There is one single room, otherwise prices are based on two people sharing. Some double rooms may carry a single occupancy supplement.
